What is a Smart Building?
A Smart building is any structure that uses automated processes to automatically control the building’s operations including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, air quality lighting, Co2, gases, temperature, humidity, moisture, motion, steel corrosion in infrastructure, security indoor & outdoor asset tracking and other systems. Example, if you’re working on a multi-level building, a gas sensor can alert you if carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, or hydrogen sulfide are present in the atmosphere.
What sets Alegna’s smart sensors apart is that they are embedded with a Digital Motion Processor or DMP. Alegna’s smart sensors can accept input from external sources and use pre-built functions to detect a specific combination of inputs. A regular sensor does not include a DMP.
